Re: A list of unsupported devices
Hello, Thanks for submitting these devices. As a note, the evaluation API has a limited database attached to it, so some of these user agents may be picked up in the full database. I also wanted to point out that some of these user agents were probably detected as "Generic" for good reason. User age...

Re: Add Huawei Mate9
Hello,
All of our evaluation api's come with an older and limited version of our device database, so we actually do detect this device on our full version. You can check to see if a device is detected on the latest version of our product here:

Re: Unable to download resource files under trial license
Hello, I see that you are using the API now, so I wanted to just follow up and make sure you are still not seeing this issue. I just checked your account and see the API .zip in your products folder. It does take a little bit of time between creating a license and getting the file uploaded to your f...

Hi James,
Thanks for providing these user agents. I've added them to our database and they should be detectable in our next database release (Sunday night). Thanks again.
Best,
David

Re: add ASUS ZenFone 4 series to the database
Hi James, I'll try to find any user agents I can, but it would be helpful if you could provide them and would speed along the process. Some of these devices like the or ASUS_X00ID or ASUS_Z01KD are in our system already, so I wanted to inquire about how you are testing these devices as well. As a si...

Re: add ASUS ZenFone 4 series to the database
Hi James,
Do you have user-agents for each of these devices? I'm not sure how you are testing, but some of these models are in our database. If you can provide the user agents, I can try to figure out why they aren't showing up in your testing.
Best,
David

Re: Integrated using Wordpress plugin
I went through your site and from what I can tell, most images are being run through ImageEngine currently. The only images I saw that were not affected was the logo and the main product when you go into a product page. Presumably, these are wrapped in CSS and that is why they are not touched. I'm n...

Re: Integrated using Wordpress plugin
I'm glad you figured out that issue. As for the other issue, do you have any insight as to what links are being rewritten and which ones are not? Are they only images in certain parts of your website, or certain types of images? Any examples you can give would be helpful. I know that the plugin will...

Re: Integrated using Wordpress plugin
Hello, As long as you have activated the plugin, set your account token in the settings and saved it, that should be all there is to it. If you are using a theme, make sure that it has html5 support and that your PHP version is at least PHP 5. If you could also verify that your token is working by p...

Re: Add Kyocera DuraXV+LTE (E4610) for Verizon to WURFL
Hello kodiakptt, Thanks for reaching out to us with an undetected device. The user agent that you provided is that of an Android 7.1 device whereas the Kyocera E4610 is a feature phone that does not run Android. It looks like the DuraXV has the Opera browser by default and the user agent would show ...

Re: WURFL throws exception while detecting device for opera
Hello Rajeev,
Can you let us know what version of the the .NET API you are using so that we can try to reproduce the error? I can tell you that this user agent is being properly detected in the last .NET API v1.8.4.0.
Best,
David

Re: Detection fail for "Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.0)..."
Hello, Thanks for bringing this up to our attention. It looks like the specific user-agent you are looking at is an older Opera Browser that is a bit different than what is commonly used. There is usually some extra information after the device OS information, so our API improperly detected the virt...

Re: What capabilities need to enable to use "form_factor"
Hi Sam, The documentation on our PHP API is for the most current API version release (v1.8.3) in which this information is not really needed since you no longer need to explicitly add these capabilities starting in v1.8.0. If you are using an older API version, you should be able to find the informa...

Re: What capabilities need to enable to use "form_factor"
Hello, Virtual capabilities are computed values that may look at regular capabilities to derive themselves. As such, there are some regular capabilities that have to be included in the capability filter in order for the virtual capabilities to work correctly. These capabilities are as follows: devic...

Re: mobile_browser is not defined in WURFL
Hello shenjin, If you are using the evaluation version of Java Onsite, there is a limited number of capabilities available and unfortuantely `mobile_browser` is not one of them. You can find a list of capabilities that the evaluation license has here: https://www.scientiamobile.com/page/capabilities...

Hello, I tried installing and running the Java API using Maven and was unable to reproduce your issue. This leads me to believe you may have a maven configuration issue which the causes can be various. The first thing you should check is the local repo you are using to forward to maven.scientiamobil...

The custom variables that is being referred to in that blurb is a feature of Google Analytics. You can learn more ...

Re: Does it work straight away after installation?
Per our email conversation: The Wordpress plugin is built to automatically prefix images that use relative paths provided by Wordpress. It currently does not automatically prefix image URLs that are hard coded. The only fix currently is to either manually prefix the images or to fix the image pathin...
