The header being sent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 5.1.1; SAMSUNG SM-G925F Build/LMY47X) AppleWebKi...

Re: Not detecting this properly

Hello - I am now a licensed user of the local WURFL, which is great, but I cant seem to pick up the advertised_browser: $requestingDevice->getCapability('advertised_browser'); As I was restricting my capabilities and now taken off so all is available do I have to do something to rebuild the cache? I...

Re: Not detecting this properly

More of interest than anything is this a firefox thing or a device issue - in terms of not including the device ??

Thank anyway - I can see your hands are tied with what you have to work with.

Cheers, Chris.

Re: Not detecting this properly

I seem to have had about 20 of these detected all over the UK since Nov 1, so assume it is some device that is not know rather than hacking:-)

Any ideas - let me know if you need anything else from me.

Cheers Chris.

Not detecting this properly

This might be someone hacking, but wanted to check as getting a header coming through: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:25.0) Gecko/25.0 Firefox/25.0 That is all and the cloud picks this up as "is_mobile" so my service lets it through. Cloud bring back a browser of Fennec... Any ideas or confirmatio...

Re: Not picking up Nexus 5 as a device etc...

Hi - I am not licensed for for the local library, but am for the cloud. So I will wait for the cloud. If possible to let me know when it there in the cloud I will try it. I seem to remember the cloud gets refreshed on a Sunday, but might be wrong.

Cheers, Chris.

Not picking up Nexus 5 as a device etc...

The user agent looks like this:

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.4; Nexus 5 Build/KRT16M) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.105 Mobile Safari/537.36

I have tried on the local and cloud and same result.

Regards, Chris.

Cheers, Chris.

UCWeb browser query

Hi - looking through my database of HTTP headers and using your cloud service I seem to have found quite a lot of UCWeb browser detections. I have attached a cvs file of them with the http headers and would appreciate your view of whether these detections are correct or not. My thoughts are they are...
