Hi Joel,
The issue has been corrected and after testing on a demo project, everything now compiles and runs correctly. Are you able to try running the API once more and let me know if `com.scientiamobile.wurfl#wurfl-scala_2.11;1.8.2.0!wurfl-scala_2.11.java-source` passes?
Thanks,
Aaron

Re: Wurfl unable to pick Edge browser
Hi Siddharth,
Just wanted to give you a heads up that API v1.8.2 is now available in your File Manager for download. Give it a try and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Aaron

Re: Data type for advertised_device_os_version changed in WU
Hi Medicom, I wanted to touch base with you to let you know that we see what you are saying with the advertised_device_os_version virtual capability returning an integer as opposed to a string and are working on the issue. I will check back in with you as soon as I have an update from my engineering...

Re: Data type for advertised_device_os_version changed in WU
Hi Medicom, I have not heard of any changes made to the data type for the advertised_device_os_version for the Cloud API; however, I will check in with my engineering team to get a confirmation for you (it may not be until Monday due to the holidays). In the meantime, please feel free to send us any...

Re: Error 413: Payload to large
Hi Amin, I see what you are saying and will notify my engineering team and get to the bottom of this error with the image. In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, are you able to try adjusting the URL or the image name? I will get back to you as soon as I have an update regarding the issue. Than...

There is no limit on the size for commercial licenses. Were you receiving an error for your image being too big?

Re: Error 413: Payload to large
Hi Amin, It appears that a previous request for the image had been cached prior to a change (maybe the image was originally too big and was resized using the same image name or URL). An immediate solution would be to change the image name or, alternatively, the URL (ex. https://jsdm.imgeng.in/pc_125...

Re: MI 3W & MI-3W
Hi Eason, Thank you for letting us know. To answer your question, there should be no difference. We will make the adjustment so that the device_name for both user agent strings match and the change will be reflected in the next WURFL.xml update. Feel free to let us know if you see any other user age...

Re: UCBrowser
Hi Codewise Team,
In this case, I would recommend using the advertised_device_os_version virtual capability as it will pull the value directly from the user agent string as opposed to device_os_version which will return a hard coded value.
Regards,
Aaron

Hi Ambuj,
Thank you for letting us know. I will take a look at the issue you are having and will check back in with you as soon as I have an update. In the meantime, could you try setting the host to api-v2.wurflcloud.com and see if that changes anything?
Regards,
Aaron

Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us. Are you able to let me know the date of your wurfl.xml, your API version, and the capabilities you are using? I tested the user agent string string using the latest wurfl.xml update with the Java OnSite API (v1.8.1.0) and received the following results for the a...

Re: Expires headers?
Hi, It is possible to adjust the expiry for ImageEngine by setting the `Expires` or `Cache-Control: max-age=` headers on your origin server. For example `mod_expires` is used to control content expiration in Apache (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/mod_expires.html) Hope this helped. Let us know...

Hi Walter, Thank you for letting us know. Re: Wurfl unable to pick Edge browser
Hi Siddharth, To clarify, the device ID for the Edge 14 browser will be conclusively matched to msie_14 - Microsoft Edge () as opposed to a generic web browser. However, at the moment, the advertised_browser and advertised_browser_version capabilities will determine from the information provided in ...

Re: Wurfl unable to pick Edge browser
Hi Siddharth, The Edge browser from your PC will be detected properly upon the next API release. As far as an ETA goes, while I cannot guarantee an exact date at the moment, it is highly likely the next release will be available around late November to early December. If you would like to receive a ...
