Hi,
Our team have completed verifying and updating the "svgt_1_1" capability in WURFL. You should see improved results with the next WURFL.xml snapshot onwards.
Thanks and cheers!

Re: Not picking up Nexus 5 as a device etc...
Hi Anil, To add to our post above, the "free" WURFL.xml snapshots hosted on SourceForge are only updated periodically. Commercial licensees have access to weekly WURFL.xml snapshots that contain the newest WURFL data. If you would like to enquire about becoming a licensee, please contact us here and...

Re: SVG image capability
Hi,
The "svgt_1_1", "svgt_1_1_plus" and "j2me_svgt" capabilities are used for detecting support for SVG Tiny(the scaled-down SVG format for mobile phones). Here is more information about it.
Thanks and Cheers!

Re: Wrong mobile device detection
Hi Nattapon, For the stock Android browser, only selecting the "Desktop" view option will send a desktop User-Agent. At all other times, you'll send something like this(which is the actual mobile User-Agent): Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.1.2; en-us; GT-I9100T Build/JZO54K) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KH...

Re: Wrong mobile device detection
Hi Nattapon, I have added the User-Agent for your device on Android 4.1 to WURFL and it should be perfectly detected after the next WURFL.xml snapshot. That said, I am unable to reproduce the behavior you encountered, where your device was classified as a "Generic Web Browser". I manually put in you...

Re: Kindle Fire HD 7" 'resolution_width' field
Hi Nick,
I think the capability you are looking for is "max_image_width" which is designed to be equal to "device-width". We have also updated the capability with your reported value, so you should be good to go!
Thank you and cheers!

Hi Stefan, Thank you for your post. We do already detect newer versions of Thunderbird . We are currently looking into detecting other desktop and applications like iPhone's mail.app and Outlook and we should have something for you soon in a newer version of the WURFL API. Please stay tuned. Cheers!

Re: Latest WURFL.XML file
Hi Dan, The User-Agent(UA) for the Verizon Galaxy S4 on Android 4.3 was added to WURFL on the 13th of November. It is highly probable that the WURFL.xml file you are on does not have this UA. As far as the discrepancy in detection on our websites is concerned, the tools.scientiamobile.com uses the l...

Re: Not detecting this properly
Hi Chris, As you can see in the User-Agent you posted, it reveals neither any information about the hardware it is running on nor any information about the version of the Android OS it is running. This is why we only detect those UAs as "Firefox for Android". Firefox on Android was originally called...

Re: Not detecting this properly
Hey Chris,
That looks like a UA generated by Firefox on Android. So it is indeed a mobile device.
