Hey there,
I've been utilizing the "updated database from local file" (after updating the local xml file obviously) for the past couple of updates. I was curious if I'm missing specific capabilities by not performing a complete install...any thoughts? Obviously much easier to just update from the xml file, but don't want to miss any big improvements.
Thanks a bunch for the help,
Jayson
Worth reinstalling all files?
Re: Worth reinstalling all files?
Hi Jayson,
We just released version 1.5 of our API, and it is highly recommended that you update to this version since it contains many improvements. That having been said, although all updates are important, the major (ex: 1.5 to 2.0) and minor (ex 1.4 to 1.5) updates should be a priority, as they add substantial improvements. Revision changes (1.4.1 to 1.4.2) add some improvements, and the forth-level updates (1.4.4.0 to 1.4.4.1) are platform-specific bugfixes.
