Desktop browser support?

Hi,

when using the cloud service every desktop browser will identify as generic_web_browser. Is there a way to get the major desktop browsers identified?

Hi,

Currently, the WURFL Cloud Service is provided in High Performance mode only, which means that most desktop web browsers are identified generically. We are evaluating improvements that we can make to increase the accuracy of desktop browser detection in the cloud services, but we do not currently have a timeline.

You should note that this is a configurable option on the standalone WURFL APIs (High Performance vs. High Accuracy).
