Need to query using Model Name not USer Agent

We need to be able to query the WURFL data using the api but need to send the model name as it exists in our database.
Seems that you can only query using the useragent?
Can we not send the model name and get back any matches?
For example, in our database we list Nokia 6700 Classis as 6700 Classic whereas on WURFL its listed as 6700 classic so we need to check that all our 1400+ model names that our software supports are exactly the same as the ones in WURFL.

Hi,
Currently this feature is not supported, however, all the model names are available in the WURFL.xml file as well, so searching that file might be an option.

Hi Steve,
We downloaded the xml file from sourcefourge.
However when we are checking for Nokia 3120 Classic (as it appears in our database) it does not appear on the wurfl xml file, we can only find Nokia 3120.
How can we check for the existence of a model in wurfl?
Surely if I am subscribed to the api we should be able to do this?
Kindest Regards
Craig Edmonds

Hi there, there are several Nokia 3120 Classic in WURFL. For ex:
Nokia3120classic/2.0 (06.20) Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1

If you fill in a license request, our team will send you a recent snapshot.

Hi,
I am subscribed to the cloud api.
What license key do you need?

The standalone API is licensed separately from the Cloud. Standalone API gives access to full wurfl.xml in weekly updates.
Thanks
