why this UA :
Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 7_0_5 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/537.51.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0 Mobile/11B601 Safari/9537.53

returns only "iPhone" as model_name and not "iPhone 5S" (or at least iPhone 5) ?

I already got some model_name with values : "iPhone 4", "iPhone 4S" and "iPhone 5"

Fabrice,

This is because Apple has hidden any of their device information from their User Agents, which makes it very difficult to return the model of iPhone from the User Agent. Only inferences can be made from the iOS version to determine what type of iPhone it is.
