S3 detection issues

Hi,

I have been using WURFL API fir .Net to detect a mobile device for a while now.
I have recently update the .xml file.
However, the code does not detect the Galaxy S3 device.
The useragent is
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.0.4; SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 Build/IMM76D) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.166 Mobile Safari/535.19

When I put in the same UA in the WURFL test the UA page, it recognizes the device as the S3.

I have not updated the .dll for the library for a long time now.
Could this be the issue ?

If not, any ideas on what the issues could be and how to fix or even debug the issue ?

Thanks.

Hi Prasanth,

Could you please provide the version of WURFL .NET Standalone API and the version/date of the WURFL.xml file that you are on?

Thanks,

Hi Prasanth,

I would download/upgrade to the latest version of the .NET WURFL API, since the "Chrome Mobile" browser detection was improved substantially in version 1.4.2.

Cheers!
