Hello everybody,
i'm having an issue with user agent from popUp when connecting a wifi network.
I'm using java Api version 1.4.4 with wurfl-2.3.3.xml.
Main problem is that popUp's user agent is not the same as Safari, it sends "CaptiveNetworkSupport-168 wispr" or "CaptiveNetworkSupport-209.39 wispr".
I've tried to use wurlf-patch.xml including those user agents and it works, but i want to use something like a wildcard (*,%, etc) to include al user agents that contain "CaptiveNetworkSupport".
Do you know something about this issue?
Do you have any solution?
Thanks in advance!!!

Re: iPhone wifi conecction popUp userAgent issue
Hi Avelino,
Have you tried creating a patch file with just "CaptiveNetworkSupport" as the User Agent?
Please be aware that Mac OS X [at least in 10.8/Mountain lion] will also send a similar User Agent when trying to connect to a captive portal. So if you redirect UAs containing "CaptiveNetworkSupport" to a mobile-friendly webpage, you may also be sending Mac OS desktop users there.
Cheers!
