as far as recognition of the device with UAProf goes, you will need to wait until API 2.0 for the feature.
As far as the Opera Mini header is concerned, API 2.0 will help there, but the good news is that, already today, with a small change in the code you can have the Java API detect the device and not the browser in the case of Opera Mini (you'll need to rebuild. As a paying customer you can also contact us through Zendesk for this).
