UCWeb browser query

Hi - looking through my database of HTTP headers and using your cloud service I seem to have found quite a lot of UCWeb browser detections.

I have attached a cvs file of them with the http headers and would appreciate your view of whether these detections are correct or not. My thoughts are they are not, but maybe a lot of people are using the UCWeb engine:-)

Well I tried sending you an excel and csv, but this system will not let me... here are few pasted:

115 UCWeb Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.2.1; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/JOP40D) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30 Galaxy Nexus 9 Android 4.2
116 UCWeb Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.2.1; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/JOP40D) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30 Galaxy Nexus 9 Android 4.2
117 UCWeb Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.2.1; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/JOP40D) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30 Galaxy Nexus 9 Android 4.2
118 UCWeb Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.2.1; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/JOP40D) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30 Galaxy Nexus 9 Android 4.2
119 UCWeb Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.2.1; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/JOP40D) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30 Galaxy Nexus 9 Android 4.2
120 UCWeb Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.2.1; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/JOP40D) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30 Galaxy Nexus 9 Android 4.2

Cheers, Chris.

That is great - thank you - let me know when fixed and I will update these ones again.

BTW - is this wrong on the local library too or just the cloud?

Cheers, Chris.

Hi Chris,

Will do.

This issue only affects the WURFL Cloud. If you use our standalone WURFL API V1.5 or newer, you will not experience this issue.

Cheers!
