Hi,
I made some tests to find some devices with a defined set of capabilities.
It appears that the pointing method is sometimes wrong.
As an example, I chose the Nokia 5800i Xpress Music (nokia_5800w_ver1). It is not marked as "touchscreen", but the manufacturer documentation tells us it can be controlled with touches, stylus, or keyboard: http://www.nokia.fr/support/support-pro ... ifications.
Did I miss something, or are this device and others devices sometimes missing their pointing_method capability?
For the time being, I spotted
"SonyEricssonCK15i/R3AC024 TelecaBrowser/Q07C1-1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1",
"SAMSUNG-S5320/S5320XXIE7 SHP/VPP/R5 NetFront/3.4 SMM-MMS/1.2.0 profile/MIDP-2.0 configuration/CLDC-1.1",
"LG-T315i/V100 Obigo/Q7.3 MMS/LG-MMS-V1.1/1.2 MediaPlayer/LGPlayer/1.0 Java/ASVM/1.1 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1" and
"Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.4; Series60/5.0 Nokia5800w/50.0.005; Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/525 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 BrowserNG/7.2.3".
Best regards,
Bruno Verachten.
