BlackBerry Playbook not being detected by latest db api

I have this HTTP request, I expected this, but WURFL is returning that. Please provide enough data to reproduce the problem.

BlackBerry Playbook not being detected by latest db api

Postby digitalronin » Tue Apr 21, 2015 8:57 am

This useragent string belongs to the BlackBerry Playbook;

Mozilla/5.0 (PlayBook; U; RIM Tablet OS 2.1.0; en-US) AppleWebKit/536.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.2.1.0 Safari/536.2

You can confirm that via the explorer;

http://www.tera-wurfl.com/explore/index ... User+Agent

Using wurfl-dbapi-1.5.2.1 the device capabilities are detected correctly, but with 1.6.0.0 it comes back as "generic"

Is this a bug?

Kind regards

David

Hello,

I am unable to replicate this result in the PHP API. Are you able to update and reload the wurfl.xml and let me know if the issue persists?

Thank you,

Elliot

Hi Elliot

Sorry, you're quite right. It turns out my test harness was using data from an older version of wurfl.xml

False alarm.

David
