Hello Team,

We are having issues detecting Google Pixel Phones as mobile devices.

User-Agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.1; Pixel XL Build/NME91E) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.134 Mobile Safari/537.36

When running this user-agent directly on your site it returns a "Generic Android 7.1" device.

pointing_method touchscreen
resolution_width 320
resolution_height 480

Hi Edgecast,

The Pixel Xl (as well as the Pixel) will be detected in the next wurfl.xml snapshot.

Dear Edgecast Support,

To add to Amar's post, please note that undetected mobile devices will still be categorized as mobile devices by the WURFL API's heuristics and return true for the virtual capability is_mobile.
