wurfl.js internal server error
wurfl.js internal server error
Hi
Recently i've experienced a internal server error 500 for all of my sites, where i use WURFL.js and load it from your CDN link.
It's quite an issue, because it prevents other javascript files and functions to be executed. The issue happens wether the site is behind an SSL-certificate or not.
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening, and how to fix it?
Best regards

Re: wurfl.js internal server error
I've seen this also. Started Wednesday p.m. Pacific time with ~50% error rate. Today seems to be 100% error rate.
Re: wurfl.js internal server error
Thank you for letting us know. We are currently working to resolve the issue and I will let you know as soon as I have any updates.

Hello Elliot
Thanks for the quick response - so far it seems to work very well. Just as it usually does
Thanks again.

Re: wurfl.js internal server error
Hi Scientiamobile Team,
Recently we've started to experience the issue already described in this topic. a internal server error 500 for all of our sites, where we use WURFL.js and load it from CDN link through https (btw http works with no issues).
It's quite strange as nothing was changed from our end. The issue happens only if we invoke HTTS request to your cloud (our SSL-certificate is still available in our account)

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening, and how to fix it?
Best regards
Alex

Re: wurfl.js internal server error
Hi Alex,
At the moment, it is difficult to tell what the issue is as your direct requests are hitting our server and returning a response. It could very well be a configuration issue.
To help us better understand the situation, are you able to let me know the following:
- When did you start having issues with your link?
- Can you confirm the hostname in question?
- Were there any changes made on your end in your system that could have possibly affected your service?
Look forward to hearing back.
Thanks,
Aaron

Re: wurfl.js internal server error
Hi Aaron
- When did you start having issues with your link?
It's difficult to say, we don't know exactly when it started to not work
the first time we noticed the issue on 13 March
- Can you confirm the hostname in question?
Yes, confirmed
we use hostname device.pragmaticplay.net which is CNAMEd to wjs.wurflcloud.com
- Were there any changes made on your end in your system that could have possibly affected your service?
we didn't make any changes, same referrers are being used when we call https://device.pragmaticplay.net/wurfl.js
Thank you

Re: wurfl.js internal server error
Hi Alex,
Our IT team has identified an issue on one of our servers in the European region, which was returning HTTP error 500s to some clients. Traffic has been diverted away from this server until we can resolve the issue. For now, your traffic is being served from North America and Asia. I'll check in with you as soon as I get confirmation that Europe is back up. Apologies for the inconvenience.
