Problem with Wurfl stand alone DB

Hi,

We have two issues about Wurfl stand alone DB.

The first one is that for the user agent “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko” your standalone (last updated on 2014-09-22) db you provided (both in accuracy and performance modes) and the site on http://www.tera-wurfl.com return different results. How can we solve the problem?

Secondly, we use your .net libraries. We create the cache with WURFLManagerBuilder object and it crashes after a certain number of queries made with the mothod GetDeviceForRequest. Now, we created a workaround solution that refresh the local cache in each 15 minutes. However, we are inspired to hear about a permenant solutions you would provide.

Could you help me?

Thanks

Hello,

Are you able to let me know which version of the .NET API you are using? Please note that performance mode will not attempt to make further matches for desktop devices.

Thank you,

Elliot

Hello,

.net libraries I use are as follows;

Wurfl.dll --> 1.4.4
Wurfl.Aspnet.Extensions.dll --> 1.4.4

I used in both modes, the result is the same.

Hello,

Updating to the latest version of WURFL (1.5.2.1) will greatly increase your detection ratio. The latest version can be found here.

Thank you,

Elliot

Hello Elliot,

I downloaded the link you have given. There no dll files in the archive file I downloaded. There were jars, it sems like it is the Java library.
