malformed data?

Postby khu@undertone.com » Wed Jan 14, 2015 7:08 pm

Hi there,

We are downloading wurfl data from http://www.scientiamobile.com/wurfl/xxxxx/wurfl.xml.gz

And we noticed the follow data point which is causing some problem at our side:

Code: Select all

<device id="motorola_xt1097_ver1_suban50xt1092" user_agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 5.0; XT1092 Build/LXE22.46-19) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/39.0.2171.93 Mobile Safari/537.36" fall_back="motorola_xt1097_ver1">
    <group id="product_info">
      <capability name="mobile_browser_version" value="39\"/>
      <capability name="model_name" value="XT1092"/>
      <capability name="device_os_version" value="5.0"/>
    </group>
  </device>
Note that the mobile_browser_version is 39\. Is this malformed data?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Cheers,
Kai

Kai,

Thank you for letting us know. I have just corrected the issue in the WURFL database, which will be reflected in the next wurfl.xml release this sunday. If you would like I can generate a new snapshot for you to use in the meantime?

Thank you,

Elliot
