Add Kyocera DuraXV+LTE (E4610) for Verizon to WURFL

Postby kodiakptt » Tue Jul 11, 2017 3:55 pm

The Kyocera DuraXV+LTE (E4610) is not being identified correctly by WURFL Cloud. Please add it to the database at your earliest convenience.

User Agent string:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.1.1; E4610 Build/0.925VZ.37.g; wv) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Chrome/55.0.2883.91 Mobile Safari/537.36

brand_name = Kyocera
model_name = E4610
resolution_width = 240
resolution_height = 320

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for letting us know. I've forwarded the user agent string to my mobile data team for further analysis and will provide you with an update as soon as I hear back.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hello kodiakptt,

Thanks for reaching out to us with an undetected device. The user agent that you provided is that of an Android 7.1 device whereas the Kyocera E4610 is a feature phone that does not run Android. It looks like the DuraXV has the Opera browser by default and the user agent would show that if anything. I actually cannot find any corroborating evidence that the E4610 model number is in fact the DuraXV.

If you have access to a product sheet or something that shows that this user agent is indeed the Kyocera DuraXV, please share it with us and I will gladly add the device to our database.

Best,
David
Mobile Data Team
