Hi,

I have the below User Agent for a HTC One X device, that does not match with the UA in the DB for htc_one_x_ver1:

My UA:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.0.3; HTC One X Build/IML74K) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.166 Mobile Safari/535.19

DB:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.3; es-es; HTC_One_X/1.26.161.2 Build/IML74K) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30

My UA resolves to generic_android.

Will this be added as another version of this device?

Hi,

The Chromium project recently changed the mobile Chrome signature from "CrMo" to "Chrome" which is the root of the problem. We have fixed this in the development branch and plan to release this with other updates before Chrome for Android is taken out of Beta.

Thank you for the feedback. Could you confirm when you expect this update to be released? Obviously now we are starting to see this issue across more and more devices.

This issue has been resolved with the newer WURFL APIs. Here's an example.
