Hi

I am using Net.SourceForge.WURFL.dll for device detection. I don't have source code for the DLL, It is not detecting the below user agent. In generally it is not detecting Android version > 4 I think.

Could you please help me. Is there any workaround to resolve the error.

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.1.2; en-gb; GT-I9082 Build/JZO54K) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30

I am using
Net.SourceForge.WURFL.dll version 1.0.0.0
and WURFL.xml version
<ver>2.3.4, db.scientiamobile.com - 2012-11-08 12:25:24</ver>.

at least it should detect the OS version.

Could you please upgrade your WURFL .NET API install to the newest version? That should solve your issue.

My client is not ready to upgrade, I have to convince my client to upgrade for that I want to confirm, it will work with the old API(Net.SourceForge.WURFL.dll) or not. I have tested with the New API and it is working fine.

Hi Bala,

Each new WURFL API release adds new features, improvements and bug fixes to the existing APIs. You will need to upgrade to the newest API version to resolve your issue.
