Hi,
Using Java API, I got the following properties for Nexus5.
User-Agent Header: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.4; Nexus 5 Build/KRT16M) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.59 Mobile Safari/537.36
Device Capabilities are:
Device UA: DO_NOT_MATCH_GENERIC_ANDROID
Device: generic_android
picture_directdownload_size_limit 0
ringtone_directdownload_size_limit 0
streaming_video_size_limit 0
playback_directdownload_size_limit 0
max_data_rate 200
physical_screen_height 60
physical_screen_width 40
colors 65535
greyscale false
max_image_width 240
max_image_height 320
max_deck_size 65535
voices 1
resolution_width 240
resolution_height 320
wbmp true
However, when I provide the same user-agent string on http://tools.scientiamobile.com/?user-a ... ari/537.36 I see the following result.
Capabilities:
is_tablet: false
pointing_method: touchscreen
resolution_width: 1080
resolution_height: 1920
This tool further says that it is just a partial list of capabilities. Licensees have access to over 500 capabilities. I am not sure when I am using the WURFL database (xml file: wurfl-2.3.5.xml), and Java API (wurfl-1.4.4.3.jar), is not the licensed version?
I am using this libraries as a research project, and what I am getting is a wrong data. Can someone please clarify?

Re: Nexus5 device properties
Hi, you are using an old version of the API. We recently released API 1.5 and 1.5.1 is on the way..
