I have a user agent string that is suppose to be matched as Galaxy Pad 1000, but it is matched as generic_safari.
Agent String: Safari/533.1. Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; GT-P1000 Build/FROYO)
It is not even matched as an Android device, which is clearly wrong.
Issue identifying GP-1000
Re: Issue identifying GP-1000
This user agent does not look correct, and in fact, would be the first I've ever seen starting with "Safari" Here is a well-formed user agent for this device:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-gb; GT-P1000 Build/FROYO) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1
If you have this device, please visit http://db.scientiamobile.com/h with it so we can capture its full HTTP Request.
